Personal Statement
Hello! My name is Owen Turner and I live in Windsor, Ontario. I have been around golf all my life, but last year during COVID-19 shutdowns, I decided to start playing more. I wanted to be a 15 handicap by the end of the year as I was a 25. By the end of 2020, I was playing every day and practicing for 15 hours each week. I got my handicap down to 13 and shot my first round in the 70s. Now, I am playing as hard as I can at an 11 handicap while keeping my GPA at a 4.0 throughout high school.
