Golf is much more than just a sport to me. It is a passion I have developed since I was a young child and began playing golf with my father. I am so thankful that I was given the opportunity to learn about the game, to challenge myself both mentally and physically, and to further develop my skills in order to play at a higher level. Having played hockey for over 10 years, I learned the value of commitment, dedication, and how to be a member of a team by contributing to a positive mindset amongst my teammates and coaches.
My ambition to attend college and play golf would enable me to pursue my academic goals in the field of business while at the same time continuing my desire to play competitive golf. I am an honors student and strive to achieve high academic success as much as my desire to pursue my journey in golf. It is important for me to find a school that meets both these goals. I will continue to improve my academic and golf profiles as I enter into my junior year.
My greatest accomplishment thus far is an award I received in honor of a well-known golf pro who unfortunately passed away in 2016. I was the first junior golfer to receive the Don Harrison Award for exemplifying true sportsmanship, dedication, and honesty. These are the values that best describe my character and I hope I will be given the opportunity to play college golf in the near future.

To whom it may concern:
It is with great honor that I write a recommendation letter for Jax Sisson. I've had the wonderful opportunity to coach Jax for 3 years in golf, which has given me the opportunity to experience his amazing abilities and success in tournament play.
I was a teaching professional at GolfTEC in Troy Michigan for 11 years and taught over 20,000 lessons. Jax was without a doubt my best student I've ever taught and I was extremely impressed with how quickly he was able to improve his game. When I first met Jax he drove the ball around 200 yards and he was scoring in the 90's regularly. Within a couple months he was driving the ball 220 - 240 and shooting in the 80's. Within 6 months he was breaking 80. At the 1 year mark he was driving the ball 240 - 250+ and breaking 80 on a regular basis and was able to shoot multiple rounds in the 60's in tournament play. By the second year he was driving the ball 260 - 290 and hit lots of 300+ yards and shoots more sub 75 rounds then over.
In my years of teaching I've never seen a student improve like he has, his potential is so rare to find. His parents have been %100 invested in doing whatever was needed to maximize his performance and with his dedication to practicing and improving it was an amazing experience working with them.
I am confident that Jax will be a huge asset to your team and will constantly push himself to always keep improving to reach his full potential and will be a great example for his teammates.
Sincerely,
