I became interested with Golf near the end of freshmen year and its been around a year and a half since I started playing competitive golf. I made it into the Varsity golf team on my first year but we had to discontinue the year because of Covid. I have learned that if I am interested in something I will work really hard and Golf is one of the few things that I have worked my hardest at. I believe that I have made a ton of progress in a short amount of time and that I will continue to make progress. By the time that I go to college I should start shooting in the low 70s and high 60s and this is something that would make me a good candidate for your team.
Some skills that I have is that I know myself very well, and I know my weaknesses and strengths. I can tell when I am tired or energetic and I understand when my body needs a break and when it doesn’t. This helped me play better and improve faster. My rounds and data show I am consistently dropping my scores slowly. I will get bursts of much better gameplay but then I would retreat back to my handicap. Whenever I play my best, I can't believe myself which is holding me back from playing to my fullest potential.
