Connor Henderson '22 Recruiting Profile

My mission is to become a competitive collegiate golfer where I can continue my person growth both academically and athletically. I want to continue to develop life skills to be successful, lead a purposeful and passionate life through integrity and honesty. I also want to be part of a competitive team and inspire others to love the game of golf like I do.

I am currently a junior at Tigard High School, graduating in June 2022.   I am an excellent student who has been taking Honor's and IB classes throughout high school.  I am a National Honor's Society Member and became an Eagle Scout in November 2020 at the age of 16.  I consider myself to be a very competitive and driven individual and enjoy motivating my teammates in both golf and football.

I have worked hard on my golf game and am continually setting new goals for myself.  My Freshman year I started the season as a 11 handicap and finished as a 2. This year, I set my goal to be a scratch golfer and am proud to say today I'm a +1.2.  Each time I go out and play, I set new goals like number of greens in regulation, no three putts, improved course management, shoot under par etc.  By doing this I am continually working on strengthening different parts of my game which goes to improving my consistency, attitude, mindset and overall performance.
