Luca Jezzeny '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Luca Jezzeny, and I am currently in eleventh grade. I have been playing golf since I was five, and have been competing in golf tournaments from the time I was seven. In college, I plan to put schoolwork first at all times while also putting full time and dedication into golf as well. I am very hardworking, precise, smart, and am constantly striving for better, pushing my golf game to new heights.  I also posses good leadership qualities that I know can benefit a team. Sportsmanship and humility has always been a strength of mine, and I know that my well-mannered personality benefits me on and off the golf course. When things do not go my way on the golf course, I keep my composure and channel all of that energy into what I can control--focusing on the next swing. I know that you cannot get shots back, and there is no point in dwelling on the past. I have always been and will continue to be a very academic-minded person. I take great pride in my work and am very hardworking and serious when it comes to school work. I am always striving to do the best I can possibly do. I have straight A's in all of my classes with a weighted GPA of 4.21. I plan to continue to making my schedule rigorous and challenging throughout the rest of high school and into college. I have a very good balance of schoolwork and golf that I am always on top of and I know I can continue into my college career.
