Dominic Stevens '15 Recruiting Profile

I have loved to play golf from the time I was able to swing a club. Golf is my passion and I discovered something that is even better than just playing golf- competitive golf. I have been a major contributor to a very successful high school team since my freshman year, winning the PIAA District 6 team championship all three years. Our team made it to the State Championship my sophomore year, placing 4th. In my junior year I qualified for the individual championship and reached my goal of placing inside the top ten, placing 8th in the PIAA Class AA Championship. My goals for my senior year are to lead the team to a 4th straight District 6 title, make states both as a team and individually and finish in the top 3 in both. I will graduate high school with 21 college credits and plan on majoring in business in college. I am dedicated and focused on reaching all of my goals, both in golf and academics. I aspire to be the best I can be in everything that I do which is why I know that I can contribute to a college golf team.  I feel that I have been an effective leader on my high school team, pushing my teammates to work hard and practice when they need it and putting them at ease in stressful situations with my sense of humor.  It has been my dream to continue my golfing career at the collegiate level and it is my goal to make that happen.
