My dream has always been to play competitive golf as a junior, as a collegiate player, and then as a professional. My dad and mom have always encouraged me to pursue my dreams and to work hard to achieve my goals. I am a diligent worker, who enjoys practicing and who spends a lot of time perfecting my game. I think it is important to spend time developing your skills and your creativity in golf so that you can have any shot you might need in your bag during tournaments.
Throughout my junior career I have participated in a variety of local and national tours and programs. By playing in local, regional, national, and international competitions I will bring to your school a wealth of competitive experience. After playing in almost 300 junior events, there are few moments that are too overwhelming for me. I am usually very calm under pressure because I have been exposed to pressure situations all through my junior years. Also, my parents have always told me that it is not the result that matters but the process and the effort that goes into the preparation. That being said, playing so many tournaments I have also learned how to win. As the Philadelphia PGA Junior Tour Player of the year twice, and the seven-time US Kids Golf Philadelphia Tour Player of the Year, I have shown that I am able to string together multiple victories in a season.
I am currently attending Commonwealth Connections Academy, an online charter school. I like the flexibility that homeschooling offers. It allows me to manage my schedule to finish my school work and then practice golf every day. Though it is challenging to not have a teacher present all the time, I am able to keep up with my lessons and attend live sessions to ask questions. Homeschooling has taught me time management, self instruction, and the ability to work through problems.
