My name is Chase Smith and I'm a senior at Lower Dauphin High School in Hummelstown, PA. I have played golf recreationally since I was 7, but I only played competitively in the fall season of my senior year. I made the switch from soccer to golf my senior year and had a successful season. I had a season scoring average of 79.9, won the 2022 Individual Mid Penn Conference Championship, and made the second day of the PIAA District 3 Championship.
Basketball and soccer were always my main sports growing up. I played both varsity basketball and varsity soccer in high school, and plan to continue basketball in my senior year. Academically, I have always been an honor roll student with a unweighted 3.55 GPA and a 1230 SAT score. In college, I would be interested in studying Architecture, Turf grass Management, Engineering, and Sports Business/Administration. Outside of the classroom, I am involved with the Best Buddies program at my school. This program is all about making friends and spending time with children that have special needs.
I feel that I am a hard worker and dedicated to the game of golf. I'm definitely very interested in competing at the next level and improving my game.
