My name is Nolan Shank, I am 5'10, 145 pounds and golf right-handed. I started playing golf at age 12 and began playing competively my freshman year of high school. I have been the one man on the team the past three years and was named team captain my sophomore year. I have competed in the Tri-State Jr. PGA Tournament Series for the past three summers as well as other PGA events. I have advanced the WPIAL Semi-finals the past two seasons as well.
I realize I have started the recruiting process a little late, but want to pursue playing at the collegiate level and am open to opportunities at all divisions. I am looking for a college where I can pursue a degree in sports and business management as well as continue to improve my golf skills. I am looking for a college coach and team that has dedication and commitment to succeed. I work hard in the classroom as well and feel academics are very important. I have been successful in the classroom and athletically and want to continue to advance in both. I currently live in Pennsylvania but would love the opportunity to go south to pursue golf. I have family living in Texas and would consider traveling there as well.
