Shane Callahan '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Shane Callahan, I am 17 years old and a senior at Souderton Area High School, in Pennsylvania. All my life I have played many different sports, Basketball, Football, Baseball, and Golf. I played High school basketball my freshman year, and continue to play in a recreational league as well. When I first started playing golf at the age of 8, I was immediately drawn to this wonderful game. For 9 years and counting I have worked my tail off to become better and better everyday. I am never sattisfied, I am a passionate and hard worker, and I am a team player. I care about my team and want the best for every kid playing. I am striving to go deep into the playoffs this year and take home first team all-leauge honors.  

If there is one thing that I have learned about the game of golf, it’s that it takes place between the ears. Every year I make huge leaps in not just my scores and skill set, but my mental game, which ultimately leads to those lower scores. At the end of the day, I am a team first player and a locker room guy, always lifting people up and encouraging them. I feel like I’d make an excellent addition to any team that takes a chance on me. I am always up for a challenge and ready to work.
