Curtis Rhoten '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Curtis Rhoten.  I am a golfer in the high school graduating class of 2023, and I am looking for a college to continue my golf career at any level possible.  Unlike most of the golfers I compete against in high school, I did not begin golfing at a young age.  I only started golfing in my freshman year, but, in that time period, I have managed to bring my handicap down from 27.3 to 7.0.   I have viewed my golf career so far as a constant journey of catching up to my competition, which gives me the motivation to practice longer and perform better than my competition.  Even as I have essentially "caught up to" my competition, this drive has stuck with me, making me a valuable asset to any team that I am on.
