My goal since I started to golf was to become a college athlete. As I’ve improved, my goal remained the same but I didn’t just want to play, I wanted to be a competitor, which I have demonstrated at the provincial level. My dedication to the course has become a priority and practising has brought my 24 handicap in 2016 down to a 6 in 3 short years and I don’t plan on stopping until I reach my goals.
I have played multiple sports in my childhood, such as soccer, football, hockey, ball hockey, basketball, tennis, and track and field, the most recent being hockey (goaltender) and ball hockey (playing out). I have been described as a multi-sport athlete. Besides my athletics, I have also been involved in music. I have played alto saxophone and most recently baritone saxophone in concert band and jazz band. I also play piano and have been taking lessons since I was 5 years of age.
As I look towards my future, my plan is to work in the athletics field in some capacity. I have considered many possibilities in this field but I am currently leaving all options open.
My hard work, determination, yet easy going personality makes me an asset to any team. Giving encouragement to others and pushing them to be better is a strength. I always find a way to make new relationships with people.
