Personal Statement

I've grown up surrounded by many great golfers. This has put a strong desire in my heart to follow in their footsteps and play at a higher level of golf. I dedicate myself to the game 100% and try my best in all aspects whether it is temper management, etiquette, or the many aspects of playing the game itself. I challenge and pride myself on being honest and well tempered even when the game isn't going as you may have planned. I've grown up playing sports such as Hockey at the highest level and Basketball, which has turned me into the competitive person I am today. Acedemics is also very important to me and I try my best to challenge myself in this area. I love the game of golf and the life lessons it has taught me. It has created many of my finest memories and friendships and I hope there is more of that to come.

One stroke play qualifying day followed by a max of 4 rounds of match play. Shot 69 qualifying day to be the low qualifier of the tournament securing my position in the Championship flight. Won first match on hole 14 to advance to the quarter-finals. Won second match on hole 18 to advance to the semi-finals. Came back from behind to win on hole 18 in my third match to advance to the finals. Played well in the finals and won on hole 14 to win the tournament.

Three day qualifier for Team Saskatchewan and the qualifier for nationals. Shot 75/75/81 to finish 11th out of 60th missing the team by five strokes. Took a 9 the final day on a par four to lose the opportunity for either of the qualified tournaments. Fought wind the final two days.
