My collegiate goals are to play college golf and to major in meteorology. I'm a good candidate for a college team because I work very hard and maintain very good grades. A true lover of the sport, I practice daily and am very devoted. In fact recently, I began P-90x to help with distance and athleticism. I am different from other recruits because of my golf work ethic. I will work harder than most and I am passionate about each aspect of the game. I also stand out because I have been playing tournament golf most of my life (13 years). As a result of long playing experience, I learn and can make changes quickly. As soon as I read about Aim point and Aimpoint Express in an article, I located a certified instructor to teach me that technique so I could improve my putting. Even in elementary school, I read every book by Ben Hogan and Hank Haney. I have played many of the finest courses (i.e. the Doral, PGA National, PGA Port St. Lucie) . I enjoy being part of a team, and that is so important to me that I even started a middle school team. I show leadership, am very positive and have a good mental game. Academically, I am in Honors classes (just finished Honors English and Honors Geometry, and next year I am taking AP US History). As far as character is concerned, I have high standards, morals and have integrity. I go to church and my faith is important to me. I really feel that I can contribute strongly and be art of a team and be valuable, be a leader, and be someone that the coach is proud of.
