JT McDaniel '19 Recruiting Profile

•     Not many people would say this, but I actually like school. It is where I can get away from my house and family. The same thing goes with golf. I feel like a free spirit when I'm out there. My goal is to go to college and get by bachelor's degree for Aerospace Engineering. I want to become the best possible Golfer I can be. I'm different from most applicants because most people try to beat one another when playing on a team. That's not the case with me. I strive to make my team better. I do understand as I get older that I will be competing by myself, but for now I know we have to work together in order to go to like regionals or state. 

    In the class room I strive to do the best I can. I always have a smile on my face and am a very outgoing person. I help others when they are in need. I am always there through thick and then. Usually I make straight A's but there are a couple times a B will slip in there. I also volunteer in my church as the sound director. I've always wanted to go to a University or just a better school in general because not many people in my family went to college. I want people to look at me and be like I want to be that guy. That's the kinda of person I want to be. I want to be a leader.
