August 2017Personal Statement
My name is Samuel Bodine and I am in the class of 2019 at Seven Lakes High School in Katy, Texas. I first swung a golf club when I was 3 years old; my dad gave me a right handed club thinking that he could train me to be right handed in sports, but to my dad’s surprise, I started swinging lefty, and hit the ball with the back of the club. So, my dad conceded, and bought me a left handed set. I started playing tournaments when I was 14 years old.
My education is very important to me, as I strive to excel academically. In everything I do, I strive to excel; I am devoted to performing, whether it be on the course, in the classroom, or in life.
In university I plan to receive a superior education, as well as compete successfully for my school. I will go to a university that helps me become the best version of myself.
