Kai Nguyen '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kai Nguyen, and I have been playing golf competitively for 5 years now. My most important goal from here is not only to play golf in college, but to compete at the collegiate level. I've always loved a challenge, which is why golf connected with me so quickly. Working hard and seeing improvement (however small it may be), is one of the most gratifying things golf has to offer.  Other aspects of golf that are very important are the abilities to stay positive and to mentally remain in control. This is what makes golf so challenging and they were big obstacles for me when I started. However, through many hours of practice, I have been able to learn to keep myself calm, and to continue with my game plan no matter what happens. I have always been interested in computers, so I would love to pursue an education and career in computer science. I believe that through hard work and patience, I can accomplish anything I set my mind to.
