Parker Young '28 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches my name is Parker Young. I am a 2028 golfer from the Shenandoah valley of Virginia. I love the game of golf and I am trying to be the best golfer I can. I'm practicing everyday I can. I may not be the best golfer at the moment but I am practicing the game and I'm getting better everyday. I love challenges and stepping out of my comfort zone. My dream is to play D1 but I'm open to playing D2 or NAIA. What makes me a good candidate for your team is I always try my best and I never slack off. I'm always active and play lots of sports at the moment I'm doing JV swim and about to start try outs for JV baseball. I try to stay active and keep in shape. Even when I'm not on the course I'm practicing my swing or fixing my mechanics. I always have a good mindset and I never give up. I'll have videos up in a few days hopefully. Playing golf I've learned hardship failure and success. I've learned so many life skills playing golf and I've grown everyday from it. 

I'm doing good in school and I'm always trying to learn I don't try to skip unless I'm sick I want to go to school because I want to grow as a person and be the best I can. I'm doing good in school at the moment with all A's. I'm in the Future Farmers of America. I want to study agriculture sciences in school. I love science and especially agriculture sciences. I think I want to study environmental science I'm also thinking about journalism which is completely different but I'm definitely think about studying that in college as well

I enjoy being active instead of playing videogames or being on my phone. I'm always trying to do something involved with sports. I always strive to be the best that I can be in school and in sports. Whenever people see me at my house they see my practicing golf and baseball. I have a passion for sports and I hope you will take a look at me.
