My name is Gaige Robson and I am a left-handed golfer with an average 18-hole score ranging around the upper 70s. My lowest 9-hole score is 34 and lowest 18-hole score is 73. This summer, I competed in the VSGA Junior Golf Circuit and qualifed to play in the Junior Circuit Championship. I just started my Senior HS season and finished T6 in Flight A and T9 overall in the Curly Lickliter Invitational (score 77) and scored (-2) 34 and 39 in the most recent matches. During my Junior season, I shot a 75 to win the individual title at the 13th Annual Skyline Hawk Invitational, finished 3rd in the Battlefield District helping my team win its second straight title and finished 17th in a very competitive VA Region 4B. I am currently competing in the VSGA Junior Golf Circuit and ranked 55 out of approximately 200 golfers. My recent swing video is available at the following link: https://youtu.be/cor5xQJik78 . I just started playing golf as a Freshman (I had played football from flag thru middle school) and have been receiving swing lessons from Irish Golf Academy in Warrenton, VA for about a year and a half. I am committed to improving my game and becoming a high quality college golfer.
My biggest asset is that not only do I focus on being successful on the golf course but I also work extremely hard in the classroom. I currently have a 4.30 weighted GPA. I am also enrolled in our ‘dual enrollment’ program where I will be able to obtain my Associates Degree in General Studies from Germanna Community College prior to my high school graduation. I would like to continue my education and pursue a career in Business Administration with a possible path towards prelaw.
