I am a leader of a highly competitive high school golf team that has won 3 consecutive VHSL 5A State Titles. Each week there are 6-8 golfers scoring high 60's and low,mid,high 70's competing for the top 6 spots to play in the scheduled match/tournament. I am consistently ranked 2 or 3 each week. This situation has uniquely prepared me for playing and competing at the collegiate level where all members of the team compete for their respective team rank. I know how to compete in a very competitive team environment and I know how to compete in a team golf tournament where every shot/putt counts for the team, especially in those grind it out rounds, team first.
