Dear College Coaches,
My name is Ari Lehman. I am a Junior at Mills E. Godwin High School in Richmond, Virginia. I am an Honor-Roll student and I have a 3.18 GPA through nearly two full years in High School. I would love to play college golf and eventually play professionally. I have been playing golf for about five years now, but since last summer I have been 100 percent committed to improving my game every single day. I was a 10 handicap at the start of summer last year, but have already gotten down to a 1.5 as of 5/15/19. I play out of Independence Golf Club in Midlothian, Virginia.
I believe that my hard work ethic, love, and commitment to the game would make me a good candidate for your program. To me, Golf is more than just I sport that I strive to get better at. It is a lifestyle that I am committed to working at every day. The competition and camaraderie of the game is something that I love. My work ethic separates me from other recruits. Every day I wake up energized to accomplish my next task, whether it is school, golf, or helping out in the community.

- I started seriously focusing on playing Golf and competing at the highest level when I joined Independence Golf Club on 4/3/18. Since then I have gone out there many times for several hours at a time. My normal routine includes 45 minutes of warm-up (Stretching, chipping, putting, hitting balls), 18 holes (scores normally between 73-81), one hour and a half of practice on Independence's short course (typically work on uneven shots from 150 yards and in), one hour of chipping and pitching practice, one hour of putting practice (clock drills, distance control drills), play another nine-holes, 20 minutes of range work, and 20 minutes of putting practice.
