I've played golf seriously for only two years, not really thinking that I was good enough or wanting to play golf, instead focusing on academics. I was a 4.0 student, ASB Vice President, Valedictorian, and NHS Secretary. I loved playing football as well. I finished my junior and senior golf season qualifying for state both years with a low round of 76 and a -2 34 9 hole score. After the season I started working at a local country club which is where I found my passion for the game. I've been working hard over the last 3 months and have improved from a 16 handicap to a 9 in 3 months. I am serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints until the fall of 2025, and will take that time to train for the Spring 2026 season, which is when I hope to begin competing at the collegiate level. I appreciate any attention I can get as I will be away for two years, but I hope coaches who give me a chance can see me as a valuable addition.
