Personal Statement

My name is Dallon Bennett and I attend Auburn Mountainview Highschool in Auburn, WA.  I am in the class of 2017.  My GPA is a 3.2.  I am the golf captain of our varsity golf team.  I have been playing golf for 3 years.

The reason I love this sport is because it is the only sport that never came easy to me.  Playing baseball & basketball, I was always very good and didn't have to work that hard.  Golf was completely new for me and I wasn't very good at first.  I fell in love with it and developed a great work ethic so that I can become the best golfer in the world.

My career goals are to become an entrepreneur and own my own business or become involved in real estate.  I am heavily involved with Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) and have been a state finalist every year in high school.  I love to compete at a high level and always do my best to win.

In my spare time I like to hang out with friends and family, work on my golf game as much as possible, work out in the gym and play other sports.    My family is the most important thing to me as well as my education and putting the most effort possible into everything I do to become the best person possible.

In closing, I hope that I can play golf at the college level as my next step in following my dream to become a professional golfer.  I want to be part of a winning team and bring my best game every time to each match.  I am dedicated to this sport and look forward to learning more about your golf program.
