I was a walk on for the high school golf team and ended up playing varsity my freshman year. The biggest turning point was when I did not make it to the state tournament. It was at this time when I really started to put forth some effort and learning things that would give me and edge over the other opponents. This experience helped set values that would carry me through my next 3 years off and on the team.
I was truly blessed with the team I got to play with all 4 years. They taught me was teamwork was as well as valuable friendships. On my Junior year I was in a leadership role which put me in a place where I was able to put in place everything I had learned through the last 2 years. I learned how to keep the positivity and effort going to be the best team as well as be the most inspiring team we could. My senior year the entire team is now headed to the bi-district tournament to compete two more times. I believe I have the talent to play on a college team as well as attributes that would help my new team succeed in their goals while still leaning new things. I have a hard work ethic and when I do something, I go all in! With a 4 year varsity letter and 2 time all league player I know what is required of me to play on your team.
