With help from my coach I set goals then build practice and tournament plan to achieve them. I'm the kid that never gives up and is out practicing every day. I'm newer to golf than most so I work harder.
My goal freshman year was to make the high school varsity golf team. I accomplished that goal to be the only freshman to make the roster.
My sophomore year goal was to qualify for conference playoffs. I qualified for conference playoffs and advanced, then through district playoffs and qualified for State championship by winning sudden death match play against 5 other district winners. My finish at State helped team finish #5 in State overall.
My junior year I had top 10 finish in conference playoffs and T7th in district playoffs. I qualified for state championship again. My goal next year is to win state.
Coach describes me as very coachable and committed to practice. I CAN contribute to a college roster. I'm not an academic or attitude risk for a coach and I don't require a scholarship to attend college. I will come and play, work hard and earn it.
