Personal Statement

I aspire to be the best student, golfer and person that I can be. If I am blessed enough, I would like to take golf beyond college to a professional level; representing my family, teammates and university. I am different from other recruits for several reasons. I am prepared to handle the challenge of college classroom and athletics since I was able to maintain a 4.0 GPA while taking multiple AP and College the Classroom courses and participating on two very competitive varsity teams. My experience provides excellent course management skills and my calm demeanor keeps me focused and coachable. I trust that the rules of golf were made to bring fairness to the game and that integrity is the most important part of any man's character. Athletically, my club head speed and ability to hit long drives gives me an advantage on longer college courses. Golf is my future but 8 years of elite basketball has also helped me appreciate the importance of fitness, dedication and teamwork. I want to thank you for taking your time to read this and look forward to hearing from you and learning how I could contribute to your team. -Q }
