Jack Yurko '19 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play good hockey somewhere in the states while getting a great education to set myself up for the future. My leadership is what sets me apart from everyone else, consistently throughout my career I have been told I am the most coachable player on the team, I also have always been very vocal in the dressing room as a positive encouraging leader. On the ice I am a tough, smaller sized stay at home defenceman, that is also able to produce some points when needed. I take a lot of pride in my plus/minus and making a strong, quick first pass to start the breakout and transition out of our zone as smoothly as possible.  In the classroom I am a focused student that has always produced very high marks, I continually ask as many questions as possible and go for extra help where needed to further my education.
