Hi Coaches, my name is William James. I wanted to introduce myself. I am currently playing Major Junior hockey with the Saskatoon Blades and love my teammates and coaches. I am a sociable kid who wants to go to the next level with hockey and academics. I am a kid who sets goals and strives for them. I would love the change to play College hockey when my Major Junior career is completed.
In hockey, I see myself as a skilled 200-foot player. My primary position is Right Wing but I have also played C and LW. I played my U16AAA at D and averaged a point a game. In general, I take pride in playing great defense and being matched against the opponents best players. I use my speed to create turnovers and generate scoring chances for my teammates. I am a player that can be put on the ice to score a clutch goal or to kill a penalty for my team. I am also a very physical player who doesn’t shy away from contact.
In school, I am a hardworking student that loves to learn. If I don’t understand something, I have no issues putting in the study, asking the teaching for additional help and going home and reviewing it until I know it 100%. I was raised in a house where school is a big focus, and I take this very seriously.
Thank you coaches for taking the time to read my profile.
