Jackson Maloney '23 Recruiting Profile

 I’m Jackson Maloney a 2023 grad I am a center/winger with a right-hand shot. I play a defensive-minded game. In the offensive zone, I am hard on the forecheck I get the puck to high percentage scoring areas. On the powerplay, I am a force in front of the net, and on the penalty kill, I am an effective shot-blocker and can score short-handed. I am a very driven player who will do whatever it takes to win, I am a proven leader on and off the ice as I was an assistant captain of the 2019, U15 AAA Sabres and the captain of the 2020, U16 AAA Blazers. I am currently playing for the U18 AAA Northstars in the Alberta Elite Hockey League. I buy into systems and procedures, I listen to the teachings of the coach and implement them into my game. Scholastically, I am a bright student I get work done and put effort into each class. I am proactive in learning, asking teachers when I don’t understand. I have aspirations to become a lawyer  I want to go to law school and become a lawyer. 

As any minor hockey player, I would like to go as far in my hockey career as possible. That includes playing college hockey (like my father).
