Personal Statement

I am an athletic and extremely competitive goaltender who always puts forward my maximum effort towards everything I do. I am an excellent student and I have a diligent work ethic in the class room, the gym, and on the ice. My 4.0 GPA is a reflection of the time and effort I put into my school, which I take very seriously.

My goal as a hockey player is to play hockey at the highest level possible. My goal as a student athlete is to play Division I Hockey while studying and graduating with a college degree. I believe that the best avenue for me to reach all of my goals as a player and a student athlete will best be achieved through College Hockey. Something that may separate me from other recruits, and something I am very proud of, is my exceptional work ethic and character that brings a competitive and passionate emotion to those around me. I am driven to get better every day whether it be in the gym or on the ice. I accept nothing but maximum effort from myself and others, in doing so I strive to make others around me better. I am a dual citizen, both Canadian and American, as I was born in Arizona with two Canadian parents.

Lastly, I love the game of Hockey, I love to play the game and there is nowhere I would rather be than on the ice. I hope you agree that I would be a great candidate for your school and hockey program because of my hockey ability and commitment to the game, commitment to academics, and perhaps most importantly my character as a person.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
