My name is Brandon Tessmer and I will graduate in 2025 from Arizona State University Digital Preparatory. I currently attend Power Edge Pro Hockey Academy in Arizona and train for 3 hours every morning. I play on a travel/club 16U team, The DYHA Jr. Sun Devils, and I'm on the D1 high school team for the Chapparal Firebirds. Along with ice hockey, I also have a love of roller hockey. I have played on several in state teams and Arizona All-Star teams with Konixx Outcasts, that travel to the North American Roller Championships. Having been severely Dyslexic my whole life, it has challenged me to work hard and diligent in everything I do. That has really translated on the ice as I have become extremely focused on my training. School is challenging for me, and I have attended online school since 3rd grade, but it has taught me how to motivate myself, be dedicated and work hard work to achieve great things. I am a valued team player on all of my teams, and have been told by several coaches that I'm extremely coachable and I always give 110% both on and off the ice. I enjoy working with younger players too. Last summer I worked alongside Power Edge Pro staff during their week long clinics to demonstrate drills and help younger athletes. I see a future for myself in coaching, or working on a trade. I look forward to learning about new opportunities that are ahead of me after high school.
