My whole life I've had a burning passion for hockey, and my love for hockey still remains today. It is my goal to play hockey at the university level. My strengths as a player are my determination, speed, puck-handling, work ethic, mind for the game, leadership, enhanced by the energy and positive attitude I bring to the rink every day. I'm a team player and would gladly lay my body on the line for the greater success of the team. I strive to be the best, not only in hockey, but in all aspects of my life. Whether it's sports, academics, health, or relationships, I enjoy making the most of every opportunity. This mentality has lead me to receive honors like my school's athletic character award, high school hockey MVP, Valley West Giants (AAA) most inspirational player, Pacific Academy all-time fitness run record, BCCSSAA 2018 South Fraser cross country winner, the Award of Excellence, Duke of Edinburgh Award, consistent honor roll student, grade 8 valedictorian. It has also motivated me to serve in a wide variety of volunteer activities in my community. However, playing college hockey at a university level would top all of those accomplishments and allow me to pursue a greater education while playing the game that I love.
