I have been playing hockey since I was 4 years old. My small, Saskatchewan town is a typical " Canadian Hockey Town" and I am no exception to wanting to live the Canadian hockey dream!
My defensive style is described by coaches and teammates as strong, smart, and stay-at-home. I am very coachable, hardworking and play for my team first. I grew up in a remote, rural area and have learned to sacrifice many travel hours to further my hockey goals. I thank my parents for their time and dedication to these goals also.
I also enjoy hunting, working on the family farm, school sports like volleyball, badminton, archery and baseball. I keep my grades up and have been an honor roll student over the years.
I am currently playing Junior A hockey with the Portage Terriers of the MJHL. The year has been very exciting and I am enjoying this team greatly. Between hockey and working part time at a local feedlot, I have also begun preparing to take my SAT exam in the next year. I plan on taking my hockey career further through junior and college opportunities.
