Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Antonio Tarantino,  I am 20 years old playing Goaltender at the junior hockey level. I’ve completed two full seasons going into my final junior year in 2022/2023 season.

I am continuing my academic, athletic and personal development while playing at the junior hockey level,  with the hopes of playing college level hockey at the highest level I can achieve.

What makes me a desirable prospect for your team is my motivation to continually evaluate my game on the ice, my academics off the ice and my leadership skills in the locker room. I have enjoyed volunteering my time with the Jr Sharks Club at various community events in the past. I continue to enjoy working with younger goalies.

I have always been a coachable player throughout my playing career, always receptive to adjustments to improve my game and the team.

I consider my on ice time as a time to fine tune my game and to work at being the best player I can be at my position. I thrive on a structured environment in my academics and athletics.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
