I first began playing hockey at the age of eight. When I first stepped on the ice, I immediately fell in love with the sport. My family has supported me throughout and I am grateful for the countless hours they have spent driving me to and from the rink, equipment purchases, and instilling in me the importance of having fun playing a sport I love.
Currently, I play for the U14 Colorado Thunderbirds (AAA). I am very fortunate to be surrounded by several great coaches and for a program that focuses on player development on and off the ice. On the ice, I consider myself to be a hard worker who leads by example, supports teammates, coachable, and a strong willingness to develop and learn the game.
In the classroom, I work hard at my studies and maintain a 3.5 GPA. I value both my education and hockey opportunities equally, and for this reason, going to a quality academic university is important and influential in the process of determining the best-suited school for me.
In closing, I would like to thank you for taking the time to go through my profile and considering me as a viable option for your program. An opportunity to further my education and hockey development at the next level is a dream I have had when I first laced up my skates at the age of eight.
