This semester, I have had the privilege of attending Kent Denver School, a highly regarded private college preparatory school in Denver, Colorado. During my time here, I have focused on excelling academically, consistently maintaining strong grades across all my courses. Beyond academics, I have taken advantage of the school’s extracurricular offerings, joining clubs such as Debate and Model United Nations. These activities have allowed me to sharpen my communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills while collaborating with peers. Looking ahead, I am committed to furthering my education at a more selective college or potentially pursuing a prestigious military academy, where I can combine academic rigor with opportunities for service and leadership.
I currently play travel hockey for the Odessa Jackalopes, a team that has provided me with valuable experiences in discipline, and perseverance. At Kent Denver, I also participated in the Fall hockey league, which began in August and served as an excellent preseason. Now, in the middle of our regular season, my team is performing exceptionally well, currently sitting at the top of our league standings. This summer, I have the opportunity to represent Team Texas at the CCM showcases in Boston and Chicago, where I look forward to competing at a high level and further developing my skills on the ice. Balancing academics, extracurriculars, and athletics has taught me the importance of time management, commitment, and pursuing excellence in all areas of life.
