Evan Jones '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Evan Jones. I am a 2006 AAA elite player from Southern New York who has enjoyed playing the great sport of hockey since the age of five years old. Over the years, I have worked hard to achieve my goal of playing collegiate-level hockey. As a forward, I play a hard, direct game with a steadfast forecheck. My hockey IQ and ability to envision plays on the ice through smart passes and quick skating compliments my teammates and helps produce goal-scoring opportunities. With my quick and accurate release, I am able to find the back of the net. In the defensive zone, I support teammates and battle for pucks to ensure that we are able to clear our zone on the first try. 

Off the ice, I bring the same intensity and effort to the classroom. I enjoy studying physics, history, and math and I always ensure that I preserve a productive and helpful working environment. In the classroom, I pride myself on being a model student by being kind and conscientious. In general, my ability to build friendships with students, players, and coaches has guided me to where I am today.
