In my hockey career, I have always been the underdog not being chosen for teams or told I wasn't good enough, not fast enough, etc. The only thing that did for me was to build motivation and told me to keep working. But when you get to know me, you will get a hardworking player, someone who will listen to coaches, and who can read the ice and has good hockey IQ. My goal is to be able to play collegiate hockey and to work and do whatever it takes to get there no matter how hard it is for me. Academically I'm a hard-working student as well who loves math and the sciences. Who struggles in the languages and English but workes hard to improve in those areas whenever he can, if that means extra study time or even working with teachers. This all translates to hockey, anytime I need to work on something I will ask a coach how I can improve or what he needs me to do to help me grow as a player.
