Hello coaches, My name is Nicholas Simpkins. I am currently playing for The St. James UA in Springfield, Virginia. I wore number 93 and was born in 2008. Here is a little bit about me as a hockey player and a person.
I currently play the wing for my team but I do have experience playing center. I would describe my play style as a power forward with great puck-carrying and zone enter skills. I have a great shot that I am always working on but that is not the nuggets part of my game. The most significant part of my game works ethical and GRIT. I get in on the forecheck, get to the net and all ways in the corner trying to win battles for my team. I am also very physical and love playing the body.
I am very energetic and always excited to get better and be on the ice. Also, I want to get better and be very open to coaching and criticism. As well as I am a leader. If you ask any of my teammates they will tell you the same as I was voted captain this year.
A short-term goal is to play AAA hockey. As well as get playing in front of junior coaches and get feedback from those coaches. A long-term goal for me is to play junior hockey and then play college hockey after that.
Thanks for reading a hope we can get in contact soon.
