My hockey journey began on Fort Bragg, North Carolina when I was four - Try Hockey for Free. I fell, got back up and have been skating ever since. I was fortunate to have access to world-class coaching beginning at that young age. Working hard was expected and I learned not to take anything for granted.
I settled into playing forward as a second year U10. Playing at Center comes very naturally to me. Someone said, I see the ice like a video game: I see the map. I know where all my guys are and I execute from there.
Since moving to Florida in 2020, I’ve been playing almost year-round; travel and tournament teams. I’ve led my teams and both goals and assists. This year, my Bulldog teammates voted me MVP. I feel very honored. I love the team aspects of hockey. I also love that I can work on my individual skills and being better. I always find ways compete against myself.
I enjoy school, especially math and science. I’ve learned to better manage my time and communicate with my teachers about my goals and the commitments and requirements of travel hockey. I understand that hockey and good grades need to happen together. I enjoy traveling and meeting new teammates and competitors. Playing hockey in college is my goal. I’m thinking about studying business and marketing.
