I fell in love with hockey and started playing when I was 6 years old. A year later, because of my Uncle and his opportunity to play goalie in the NHL, I wanted to follow in his footsteps. I am a hybrid, very vocal, love to play the puck, and confident goaltender. My aspirations in hockey are to play NCAA, but in the long-term play Professional. My dream school is the University of Michigan because of their coaching staff, academic level, and overall atmosphere.
I played U-16 AA during the 2017-2018 season in Florida, but I wanted more and felt I could play at a higher level. I made the jump during the 2018-2019 year and made a commitment to move away from home and attend a Prep School in Ontario, Canada (Canadian International Hockey Academy). I am currently playing for the U-18 AAA level and am the starting goaltender. I knew that I could play at this level and I feel I have the best chance here to pursue my dream of playing hockey at the Professional level. I am very interested in playing Junior A and know that is a step that I need to make my dream become a reality. In College, I would love to be able to study Sports Management or Business.
I would be an asset to your program because of the positivity I bring to the players around me, my great work ethic, and a drive to always be better than my competition. You would not be taking a chance on me.
