Dear Coach,
I have always aspired to play collegiate hockey, not only to compete at a high level but also to grow as a student-athlete and leader. My goal is to contribute to a program where I can excel on the ice and in the classroom while representing the team with integrity.
What sets me apart as a recruit is my commitment to continuous improvement in all aspects of my life. Athletically, I am a disciplined and intelligent defenseman who prides myself on making smart plays, reading the game effectively, and prioritizing the success of the team above all else. Academically, I maintain a 4.0 GPA, which demonstrates my ability to manage time, meet challenges, and stay focused.
Beyond my skills and grades, my character defines me. I am a team-first player who values sportsmanship, resilience, and hard work. I approach every practice, game, and classroom assignment with the mindset of giving my best effort. I believe that my combination of character, athletic ability, and academic success makes me a strong candidate for your program, and I am excited about the opportunity to contribute and grow as part of your team.
My Goals
In college, I want to do well both on the ice and in the classroom. I’m planning to study business and hope to give my all to both my team and my academics. Being great at sports and school is really important to me, and I’m ready to work hard at both.
