Xavier Ayotte '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing hockey since I was 4 years old. Since I first stepped on the ice, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. I know that playing in college is a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.

I have strong stick handling skills, good shot, strong physical defense, excellent mental toughness and high hockey IQ. Likewise, I am a team leader and try to lead the example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and assist my coach with leading practices and coaching other teammates to success. I strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest recruits you will find. 

Not only that but, I work hard year around on my hockey skills, participating in hockey camp, stick handling sessions, my speed and agility with other sports like soccer and basketball, running outside and lifting in the weight room, which all contributes to my athleticism.

In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I received High Honorable mentions at school. I also volunteer at local youth hockey practices and teach them some hockey skills. Along with my volunteer work, I’m part of the Student Advisory Board at my school to help every student.
