Jansen Dacey '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Jansen Dacey. I have been playing hockey for about 6 and a half years and I am extremely passionate about the sport of hockey. I currently play club hockey for the Atlanta Ice Bandits in Cummings, Georgia, and I also play War Eagle high school hockey. I am very dedicated to the sport and I love to get better and learn more about the game. I have a great work ethic, and I am able to balance hockey, school, and boy scouts all at the same time. Since I am a part of boy scouts I am able to communicate, lead, and motivate people around me. I also take this sport very seriously and my end goal is to either play junior hockey or play college hockey. 

I am very determined and easy to coach. I use my height to my advantage and I am able to lay the body when needed out on the ice. Right now I am practicing two time a week as well as training 4 times a week and playing games on the weekends. 

Currently, I attend North Atlanta High School  in Atlanta, Georgia and I am apart of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program at my school. After my high school education I would like to pursue finance since it is another thing that I am highly passionate about, aside from hockey.
