My name is Riley DeWitt, I am a scholar athlete with goals of continuing to play high level hockey collegiately while also pursuing an education to enable my career goal in Orthopedic Medicine. I am an extremely hard working, competitive, and disciplined student athlete with a strong commitment to do whatever it takes to win. I am currently taking Honors and AP classes to challenge and prepare myself and have been able to maintain strong academic achievement (see GPA) even with a year-round commitment to hockey and a part-time job working for the local school board. When I am not playing hockey, you would find me focused on my schoolwork and/or training to become a better athlete each and every day. I have been playing hockey since I was 5 years old and have always dreamed of playing collegiate hockey. I have been very driven and disciplined at working towards achieving success on and off the ice to realize that dream. I work hard each and every day and remain focused on doing whatever it takes so that I can pursue my dream.
