Joseph (Jack) Storsteen '27 Recruiting Profile

Hockey Coaches - 

I would love to play hockey at the highest level my skills will take me. I always strive to be the best player/teammate I can be. I enjoy studying the game to improve my knowledge of the sport. I see both sides of the ice well, as I've played in a forward position (center last season) and defenseman (5 seasons prior), which has helped in my development as an all-around player. I can play (and I'm willing to play) anywhere a coach needs me to play.

Swim Coaches - 

As the son of a swim coach (who was also a D1 swimmer), swimming has been in my blood from a very young age. Technique has been the focus of my training. My dad never pushed me to practice more that 2-3 days/week in order to prevent "burn out". For this reason, I've recently found a renewed enjoyment for the sport.

Swimming is now my cross-training for hockey. Each sport compliments the other.
