My name is Lenny Marchese, and I play the game of hockey. I’m a 2009 and play for the Chicago Jets. What makes me a good candidate for your team is I like to play fast, and aggressive. Another reason why I would be a good candidate is, I’m not a selfish player, if I see one of my teammates open, I will always pass the puck to them, and whenever one of my teammates comes off to the bench after a hard shift, I will encourage them by saying “good job.” I will always encourage myself by if I make a bad play or a mistake, I will shake it off and improve. What makes me different from other recruits is, I always try to stay positive not matter the score, and will never give up, because sometimes I see my teammates upset after a blowout, or a bad game, but what matters is we can learn from our mistakes in the game, and those mistakes can push ourselves to be better and improve our skills. What makes me different academically is, I am always open-minded and focused in class, and will try my best on an assignment no matter how challenging it is, and if I do bad on a assignment or test, I will study harder for the next one. In addition, if someone ever asks for help, I will try my best to help them. My dream is to play in the NHL, but I know I will have to work hard for it.
