Braden Hathaway '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Braden Hathaway. I have been playing hockey since I was five.  Since the time I was a Termite (mini-mite) I wanted to be a goalie. I would stay at the goal and play defense, taking the puck away from the opposing players and blocking the small “M” net from every shot. I finally got a chance to be in goal as a first year squirt, and I have never looked back!  Hockey and goaltending are my love, my passion, and the core of who I have become. It has taught me patience, perseverance, and how to work harder than I have ever worked before. I think my greatest assets  on the ice are my ability to track the puck, my athleticism, and my “no fear” attitude. I pride myself on my ability to be coached , my work ethic, my overall hockey sense, and my drive to improve and help my team succeed. My goals are to play hockey at the highest level possible, including playing at the college level.  Academically, I would like to go to college and use my math skills in the engineering field.  I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how  my assets might compliment any team or organization.
