I am Ryan Reynard, a goalie born in 2007, and will graduate from Indian Creek High School in Trafalgar, Indiana in 2026. I play with a hybrid style because it best fits my stature and athleticism. I strive to keep my eyes on the puck and my focus 100% upon it. I work to keep my movements as simple and efficient as possible to stay square to the puck. I enjoy being called a boring goalie where I don’t make a lot of flashy saves because I don’t have to. I am also coachable. I like to learn new techniques and I am good at implementing feedback. Lastly and most importantly I am a good teammate and I need my teammates because I understand that I can't do it on my own.
When I am not playing hockey and not wearing the pads, I am a focused student and an artist. I am a quiet person who is reserved, but I can be a goofball at times. I enjoy messing around with my teammates and sometimes quick to throw in a little joke. Finally, I am also a religious person who takes his faith in Christ seriously.
My life's goal is to be an animator/screenwriter. When I'm drawing different characters, I like to write different scenarios to use as backgrounds for the created characters. I want to find a college with both hockey and animation. Another goal I have is to be the goalie on a championship team. Although I mainly hope to continue to play hockey throughout my life, because I truly love it.
