Personal Statement
My name is Ingþór Árnason and I have been playing ice-hockey since I was 7 years old. All my time playing I have been playing with my hometown team SA (Skautafélag Akureyrar). I’ve always wanted to step up and play on another level and the opportunity to get a college education and play at a good level is what I have been waiting for. It would have a great impact on my life.
First time playing in another country was when I was 15 years old and I was playing with my u18 national team in Mexico. Since then I have played with every available national team, the u18, u20 and senior team. I was one of few guys to play with the u18 and senior team the same year. I was chosen the best player on my u18 team my last year and also on my u20 the last year there. I wore a C on my jersey the last two trips with my u20 team. I try to be a good example on the ice and off it. I do my best on and off the ice, I’m easy too coach and I always put everything in when I’m playing.
When I’m not playing hockey I watch TV, play video games, hang out with my friends or do my homework. and I have good grades in school. I am currently in a video making club at my school.
I would love to go to a nice college that has good education and ice hockey, where I can get good experiance and education. I am open to all options and I want to compete at my highest level.
